We as a society are afraid of talking to each other face to face and rather do it online. Some people on the site can want online relationships while others are just looking for sexual encounter. With this being said we are moving towards a world where it is easy for the internet to valuable in everyone lives and the web to try to create a way to interest society without stepping on the internet toes.
This makes it a lot harder because you don’t know who is looking for something real. They can put on the site that the want a relationship but really want something else.
Another huge clue is when they say that they're working in another country, but that they need money to come to your country to visit you.
