Error validating server certificate svn ordating com
A server certificate contains detailed identification information, such as the name of the organization that is affiliated with the server content, the name of the organization that issued the certificate, the name of the server and so on.
In most cases, certificate is signed by a trusted Certificate Authority (CA).
Certificate information: - Hostname: *.- Valid: from Wed, GMT until Thu, GMT - Issuer: Google Inc, US - Fingerprint: 34:4b:90:e7:e:0d:52:1f:10:c0:4c::4a:9e:05:c9 (R)eject, accept (t)emporarily or accept (p)ermanently?
This ensures reasonable protection from eavesdroppers and man-in-the-middle attacks, provided that adequate cipher suites are used and that the server certificate is verified and trusted.
In order to work over the HTTPS protocol, the Visual SVN Server should be equipped with an SSL certificate.
Just install the server certificate in the client's trusted root certificates container (if certified it's expired may not work).
